At Beverly Hill’s Rejuvenation Center we combine the popular Laser Genesis Treatment with the Limelight IPL to provide an even more effective treatment for pigment at a much more comfortable energy level. Superior results may be seen in just 1-3 treatments performed 3-4 weeks apart. The most popular areas treated are typically the areas that have had more sun exposure. Both discrete spots and skin densely covered with freckles respond well to this treatment.
What does it do? BHRC's SolarGenesis does something completely unique for skin rejuvenation. It combines both the Laser Genesis proven to not only minimize fine lines but also to reduce large pores, scarring, uneven skin texture and overall redness and flushing as well as reducing discoloration, sunspots, and sun damage when followed immediately with the LimeLight IPL in one 45-minute treatment.
How many treatments will I need? Patients and conditions will vary in the way they respond, based on their skin biology. Typically we recommend a series of four to six treatments to optimize results.
What can I expect afterwards? You can return to normal activities immediately. You may be flushed from the heat but that will disappear within a few hours of treatment. Some patient's may experience darkening often described as the "coffee-grind" look which could last for a few days. Individual treatment results are often subtle but the overall effect over time with multiple treatments can be quite dramatic.
Is it safe? Yes. Hundreds of thousands of Laser Genesis treatments have been done to date with no adverse effects. As with all medical procedures there is a slight degree of risk, and we will discuss this with you thoroughly when you come in for your consultation.
